There is something to suit absolutely everyone in our gorgeous country. These are only a few of the many places that are on offer, but hopefully it gives you a few ideas as these are some of our favourites.

  • Whitsunday Islands: It goes without saying that the Whitsunday islands are some of the most beautiful islands in the world. Some beautiful resorts plus fabulous weather make this place a perfect mid-winter getaway. If you are wanting to do something different, how about hiring a boat for a number of days. This way you can sail around the islands and even stop to visit a number of them.
  • If going remote is something you would like to do and you are not afraid of camping under the stars, how about heading up to far North Queensland to Cape York to explore this remote part of the country. Take a 4-wheel drive and camping gear to go on a trek well worth doing.
  • Coral Bay is part of the Ningaloo reef in Western Australia and is absolutely spectacular. 600km north of Monkey Mia, this place is so remote, almost untouched and its nature at its absolute best. The Ningaloo reef and the marine park are home to over 500 species of fish and the reef can even be seen from the shore. A great place to take children.
  • The Northern Territory has got some amazing scenery and so many places to explore. Darwin is a great spot to explore and lots of things to do for the whole family. From fish feeding, to crocodile parks and even Barramundi fishing. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and just enjoy the top end of Australia.
  • Port Douglas is located in tropical north Queensland and offers accommodation for every budget. From large resorts to renting an apartment, it is a really good spot for both families and couples alike. It is situated close to both the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree forest which makes both places accessible to go and explore in a day trip.
